A Spook-tacular Success: Trunk-or-Treat at The Marylhurst School!
This year’s Trunk-or-Treat was an incredible success, bringing our community together for a fun-filled and festive celebration! Families gathered on our campus on Saturday morning, excited to showcase their creativity with costumes, crafts, and fantastically decorated trunks. We had 23 unique trunks on display and welcomed approximately 180 attendees to the event, making it a season highlight.
Our volunteers went all out, transforming their trunks into spooky, silly, and magical displays that delighted children and adults alike. From candy-filled surprises to imaginative activities, there was something for everyone. The crafts were a big hit, with kids creating potions, jack-o'lantern rocks, mummies, and Halloween-themed bookmarks to take home as souvenirs of the day.
The energy and excitement were contagious as families shared laughs and enjoyed time together in a safe and welcoming environment. There was a strong sense of community as everyone came together to make this event a memorable experience for our students.
We want to extend a huge thank you to all the volunteers and families who participated. Your enthusiasm and hard work helped make this Trunk-or-Treat truly special, and we couldn’t have done it without you! Moments like these remind us of the strong community spirit that makes The Marylhurst School a special place.
With this year’s Trunk-or-Treat behind us, we’re already looking forward to next year’s fun. We can’t wait to see what creative ideas our families think of next! If you have any feedback or ideas to share for next time, please email pca@themarylhurstschool.org.
