West Linn Library Story time at the West Linn library, for ages 3 – 6.
North Clackamas Aquatic Park Swimming lessons, Big-surf wave pool, water slides, swim parties.
Oregon City Swimming Pool Swimming lessons, outdoor wading pool, swim parties. (Just two blocks up from The Marylhurst School!)
JJ Jump Inflatable jumping, birthday parties, two rooms for younger/older kids.
Precision Elite Gymnastics (formerly Sunburst) Open Gym sessions for preschoolers and kids, trampolines, The Big Swing, birthday parties.
Oaks Park Amusement park rides in the summer, roller rink has preschool-only sessions.
Our local parks are spectactular for kids! Check out a new one every week. Some favorites:
Rivercrest Park – shady playground, brand-new spray park
Chapin Park – lots of play equipment, and a 1/4 mile paved bike/stroller path around the ball fields, all visible from the playground benches.
Hillendale – two separate playgrounds, one for younger kids, one for older, little bridge with a creek to watch.
Hammerle Park – very shady, new spray park for summer, ball fields, near the library
Mary S Young State Park – shady hiking paths through forest, soccer fields
Willamette Park – nice playground, picnic shelters, explore along the river
Tanner Creek Park – good playground for younger children, lots of climbing and slides, spray park, covered picnic area
Murase Plaza – Cool waterfall to splash in, sand and water play area, “volcano” climbing mountain
Town Center Park – fun playground, splashing pond
Metro Parent Magazine – Parent resources, kids events calendar, parent blogs.
UrbanMamas.com – Fabulous website for all things kid, in Portland. Run by five busy Portland moms. Great forums on all topics.
Mom’s Club of West Linn – Monthly meetings, support for at-home or working moms.
Mom’s Club of Oregon City – Support group for at-home moms, Oregon City and Beavercreek area.
